Thank you for your interest in including our UN SDG Corporate Guidebooks in your curriculum!

As educators, we understand that it can be challenging to produce learning content from a textbook. That is why we are producing Curriculum Packages as companions to our UN SDG Corporate Guidebooks. We are providing Preview Manuscripts and Curriculum Packages to facilitate advance planning, to include the UN SDGs in your courses. Some of the guidebooks will be ready for inclusion in Summer and Fall 2022 Academic Terms!

How to Use Our Guidebooks

Our guidebooks can be used individually for narrowly-focused (typically 100-200 level undergraduate) or in combination, for more in-depth (300-400 level undergraduate and graduate level) courses.

An example of the latter might be combining SDGs 8 & 12, given the synergy of both goals addressing Sustainable Tourism, and the interconnection between Sustainable Consumption and Production with Employment & Economic Growth. These happen to be our first two Corporate Guidebooks scheduled for release, with Preview Manuscripts available starting before the end of 2021. We are available to discuss any combinations that might make sense for your learning objectives.

Why Include Our Guidebooks in Your Course?

Besides the content and delivery support described below, you can assign our guidebooks with the assurance that they have been researched and written to the highest level of academic rigor. Our publisher is CRC Press – Taylor & Francis Group. “For more than two centuries Taylor & Francis has been fully committed to the publication of scholarly information of the highest quality, and this remains our primary goal today” (Taylor & Francis – About Us – History).

These books are not dry academic texts filled with theory. Your students will find themselves immersed in a conversation that our writing teams have crafted, that guides our corporate reader through every SDG Target, chapter-by-chapter. Each Corporate Guidebook is written by five Co-Authors, supported by a team of researchers. Chapters are peer-reviewed within the SDG Team itself, then shared with at least two members of another SDG Team for academic quality and relevance to our corporate reader. We then apply another level by fact checking prior to copy editing, and finally a review of manuscripts by Industry Influencers.

Research Internships are available for books in production, contact us if interested in internships for your students.

Your students will also have access to updated SDG Resources on this website, which will refresh details in the books with digital, online source materials, latest reports, data and frameworks.

Internships are available to assist in maintaining and updating these resources as well.

Please visit the SDG Team Pages for updates on availability, or CONTACT US. Note that we currently have eight guidebooks in production, so the remaining nine titles have wide ranges posted for availability.

Support – Content & Delivery

Curriculum Packages will be available before the books are published, allowing you to plan your course in advance. We’ve taken the heavy lifting out of this course build, with materials that you can easily use. There will be two choices of Curriculum Packages, as well as the option for a custom course, provided by SHERPA Institute Curriculum Developers, to meet your learning objectives.

We can also support your course delivery with qualified instructors, who have proven expertise in online learning.

FREE BASIC Curriculum Package: Simple knowledge-check quizzes arranged by chapter, simple assignments and fundamental chapter learning objectives.

ENHANCED LICENSED Package: Comprehensive challenge quizzes, cumulative exam questions, advanced discussion topics, semester project ideas and higher-level chapter learning objectives.

CUSTOM COURSE OPTION: We will collaborate with you to create a course that integrates into your specific degree program, or as a complement to a concentration area.

For corporations, we can produce courses and instructors for delivery on your LMS or on ours. Onsite instruction and blended learning is also available.
